HIMABIO Udayana Held "Biology Championship 2022" to Channel the Creativity of Students in the Field of Biology

The Student Association of the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University has organized the "Biology Championship 2022" activity with the theme "Preparing Future Researchers with Passion, Empathy, and Creativity". This activity is Himabio's annual work program which holds Olympics and essay competitions throughout Indonesia. This activity aims to be a forum for the development and deepening of Biology for students and students throughout Indonesia who are innovative and support the achievement of sustainable productivity and community welfare. This event was held online at the Website Biology Championship 2022 and the Cisco Webex Meeting. The participants of this activity are active students and students throughout Indonesia.

 

There are two series of events held at the Biology Championship 2022. The first series of events, namely the Opening Ceremony of the Biology Championship 2022 and the Preliminary Round of the Biology Championship 2022 which will be held on October 1, 2022. The first series was held at the Cisco Webex Meeting and Website Biology Championship 2022. The opening ceremony started at 08.30 WITA at the Cisco Webex Meeting which began with a performance of FMIPA creativity dance. The event was then opened by the Coordinator of the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Mr. Dr. I Ketut Ginantra, S.Pd., M.Si. who started the preliminary round of the Biology Championship 2022. In addition, the announcement of the finalists of the essay participants at each level was also made at the end of the event which added to the excitement of this event. The Preliminary Round of the Biology Championship 2022 will be held on the Biology Championship 2022 Website with 2 sessions from 10.10-13.00 WITA. The announcement of the finalists was held at 16.00 WITA leaving 10 finalists from OBU at each level and 5 finalists from the essays of each level.

 

The second series of events, namely the Final Biology Championship 2022 and the Closing Ceremony Biology Championship 2022. This series of events will be held on October 9, 2022. The Biology Championship 2022 Finals will be held at 08.25 WITA at the Cisco Webex Meeting. This event began with a briefing on the participants and giving rules regarding the running of the Final Biology Championship 2022 event. Each finalist had the opportunity to conduct a question and answer session with a lecturer in Biology FMIPA Udayana University. The question and answer session is carried out according to the type of competition and its level. This event ends at 12.30 WITA. The highlight of the event, namely the Closing Ceremony of the Biology Championship 2022, was opened with the announcement of the winners of the Biology Championship 2022 and the official presentation of prizes. In addition, the winners were also given the opportunity to convey their impressions and messages directly, while other participants conveyed them through the chat column feature. The event was then continued with the report of the head of the committee by sister Tiffany Angelita Putri Mileva and continued with remarks by Dr. I Ketut Ginantra, S.Pd., M.Si. as the Coordinator of the Biology Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University and Mrs. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih M.Sc., Ph.D. as dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University who also closed the series of Biology Championship 2022 events. The Biology Championship 2022 event was supported by several sponsors and we, the entire Community of the Biology Study Program, would like to thank Maxim, Kupu, Tirta Gangga, and Aya Chicken for supporting the running of the Biology Championship 2022 event.
