Strengthening Academic Synergy: FMIPA Unud Biology Lecturers Visit FMIPAK Unima

MANADO – Nine faculty members from the Biology Study Program, FMIPA Udayana University (Unud), conducted an official visit to the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Earth Sciences (FMIPAK) at Manado State University (Unima) on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.


This visit serves as a concrete implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the two faculties. The delegation from Unud included:

The delegation was warmly received by the leadership of FMIPAK Unima, including the Dean, Vice Deans, Head of Department, and Program Coordinators. The partnership focuses on strategic academic pillars, such as research collaboration, joint publications, the Independent Student Exchange program (PMM MBKM), and lecturer exchanges.


Highlighting the visit, I Made Saka Wijaya, S.Si., M.Sc. delivered a guest lecture titled "Mangrove Floristic Composition in Bali." The session was highly successful, drawing over 80 participants, including both students and faculty members from Unima’s Biology Department.


This collaboration is expected to strengthen the bond between the two institutions, fostering high-quality biological research and enriching the student learning experience through sustainable academic exchange programs.
